Emerging from the muddy swamps of the byou, blackend death-metal supergroup Goatwhore, will release their 4th full length album entitled "Carving Out The Eyes Of God" on June 23rd via Metal Blade records.  With each release, Goatwhore has been gaining momentum and defining their signature style without comprimising their sound; "Carving Out The Eyes Of God" is Goatwhore's most mature and epic release to date.

The opening track "Apocalyptic Havok" grabs the listener for a sonic beatdown and does not let up for the 41 minutes of organized chaos. Ben Falgoust (lead vocalist & "Soilent Green" frontman) and crew have thrown in a few susprises including guitar solos and a few dark and menacing melodies to go along with the bands core black metal tone and haunting shrieks and death metal growls. The title track "Carving Out The Eyes Of God" opens with some thrash inspired undertones, but then launches into blast beats and double picking that is an oddesey of chaos. "Provoking The Ritual Of Death" slows down a bit for a more doom and sludgey sound. "Razor Flesh Devoured" is the most aggressive track that just flips the listener back in their seat from the beginning riff that is lightning fast with unrelenting pounding double bass.

Goatwhore just does not phone it in, and this is a band that just bleeds metal with no comprimise or facade. "Carving Ou The Eyes Of God" is a landmark release and will gain the attention of true metal fans. Great time changes, song structures, and musicians make "Carving Out The Eyes Of God" one of the strongest releases of 2009 and a memorable release years down the road.
